Privacy policy
Effective from 23 October 2026
This policy explains how Štajerec global d.o.o. processes personal data when you visit stajerec-global.com, send an inquiry or contact us. We process data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Croatian implementing law.

2. What we collect
- Inquiry form data: name, company, email, phone, project location, project type, number of units and message.
- Direct communication: what you send us by email or WhatsApp or tell us by phone.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and time of access, logged automatically by the server for operation and security.
- Website and ad usage data: only if you allow it in the cookie banner (see section 7).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Replying to your inquiry and preparing an offer: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent given in the form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Concluding and performing a contract: Art. 6(1)(b).
- Accounting and tax obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Website security and operation: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Measuring visits and ads: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Recipients
We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their marketing. Data may be processed only by service providers acting on our behalf:
- our web hosting and email provider;
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), only as a backup service that forwards inquiries to our email if direct sending from our server fails;
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Ads and Google Analytics), only if you have accepted measurement and advertising cookies;
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp; WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy then also apply to that conversation;
- our accountants and public authorities, where required by law.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers (FormSubmit, Google and WhatsApp/Meta) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Such transfers rely on GDPR safeguards such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Inquiries and related correspondence are kept for 2 years from the last contact, unless the inquiry leads to a contract.
- Contract and accounting records are kept for the periods required by law.
- Server logs are kept briefly by the hosting provider according to its settings.
7. Cookies
Without your consent the website uses only necessary local storage (your language and your cookie choice). Measurement and advertising cookies are set only after you accept them. See the Cookie policy for details; you can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Send requests to info@stajerec-global.com; we reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10110 Zagreb, azop.hr, or with the supervisory authority in your country.
9. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing or create profiles with legal effects for you.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
